Thank you Naval (and Ravi) for the refreshing insights you bring through Venture Hacks. I research and write the newsletter for the Inventors Society of South Florida (www.InventorsSociety.net) and I follow Venture Hacks because you are leading edge thinkers for the independent product developers (inventors) who seek financial success through their efforts. You inspire listeners (in my case, the independent product developers) to stay focused on the goal while they are mired in early deveopment issues. I appreciate the many ways you assert that each step in the process bespeaks the outcome. You are inspiration! Thank you!

I am Mr Adolphus Smith Asst Director Budumbura Refugee Camp Ghana,I understand you don't know me and I don't know much about you, but I will be very pleased if this transaction will make us know each other as we both are going to benefit from helping the Abdalla Family here in Ghana.

I am soliciting for a 16yrs old boy Uwa Abdalla, he is the son of late Anthony Hamid Abdalla, a diamond dealer and Farmer in Sudan, who was killed by the Sudanese Rebels due to Crisis that erupted in their country.

I got your contact when i was searching for the contact information of the late Mr Timothy Peters who was the foreign business partner of late Anthony Hamid Abdalla ,The family is seeking asylum rights in a safe foreign country and require the assistance of a citizen .

If you agree to assist the family move over to your country , you will be adequately compensated as they have inheritance funds in trust which they are willing to offer a reasonable part to the person who will help them .I will furnish you with further details as soon as i hear from you .

Thank you for your time and anticipated cooperation and hope my contact to you will not cause you any inconvenience whatsoever .

Naval,

I read your post "Who has time for meetings?". I loved it. I agree that you need something short and sweet to share with potential investors following the introduction. Are there samples that you can share that won your interest or examples that you know that sold other angels to have the follow up meeting?

We're looking for investors and I want to make sure we approach angels the right way from the start to win that second meeting in which we can go into more detail etc.

Let me know as it would be much appreciated!

Best,
Greg

Hi Naval,

Just came across AngelList on Twitter. My organization is working on angel investor organizing in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro, primarily in life sciences, but also IT (we are one of the largest centers of medical devices in the world and have a large enterprise software community for health care and retail).

Would there be a way to partner with AngelList to build a group focused outside of IT and/or with a geographic brand? Or at least to have a discussion around the topic?

Regards,
Frank
